Profile

As a certified specialist attorney in intellectual property law, Julian Erfurth advises national and international clients on all aspects of soft IP, particularly in the areas of trademark, competition, and copyright law. A key focus of his practice in this area is judicial enforcement, inter alia in injunction proceedings and in protecting well-known trademarks against product piracy on online platforms. In addition, he provides advisory services, including in connection with digital advertising and distribution models, with further areas of focus in e-commerce and commercial agreements. He also regularly handles domain dispute proceedings before international arbitration tribunals.

Julian studied law at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. During his studies, he worked at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition Law, and Copyright. He holds an LL.M. from Victoria University of Wellington and earned his Ph.D. from Freie Universität Berlin on a topic related to liability law. Julian began his legal career in 2018 at Lubberger Lehment.
