Profile

Tim Schwarz advises on all aspects of tech law, with a particular focus on digitalization and data law. He primarily advises technology companies on the implementation of data-driven business models and the establishment of data spaces, as well as compliance with and implementation of European digital regulation, in particular the AI Act and Data Act. Another key focus of his practice is data protection law and data governance.

In addition, Tim advises on the drafting and negotiation of complex technology agreements as well as on technology, data and IP transactions. He has strong sector expertise in the automotive industry as well as in life sciences and healthcare.

Tim studied law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the University of Copenhagen. He began his legal career in 2015 at the international law firm Baker McKenzie. In 2017, he joined Taylor Wessing, where he served as a salary partner from 2021. In November 2025, Tim joined Lubberger Lehment as a partner.

Tim is a lecturer in copyright and media law at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Among other distinctions, he is listed as a Recommended Lawyer for IT Transactions and Outsourcing (The Legal 500, 2024).
