Profile

Leonard Pietsch advises and represents clients in trademark, design, copyright, and competition law as well as IT law, with a particular focus on IP issues relating to artificial intelligence and on IT security matters. His practice centers on defending and enforcing intellectual property rights at both national and international level; he also advises on corporate transactions with an IP and IT dimension.

After studying at the Freie Universität Berlin, he worked in academia in the field of energy law and lectured at the University of Potsdam. During his legal traineeship (Referendariat), he worked at Freshfields in M&A/Corporate and at Vogel Heerma Waitz (V14) in Venture Capital and IP. He began his career as a lawyer at Poellath in 2021, also in Venture Capital. Since July 2022, he has practiced as an attorney at Lubberger Lehment.
